Project-based Resources

Project-based resources are DigitalOcean resources that are always associated with a DigitalOcean Project.

We assign your resources to the default project if the project-based resource does not have a specified project.

Project-based resources include Droplets, Spaces, load balancers, domains, Kubernetes clusters, and Apps.

Droplet-based resources are a category of resources within a DigitalOcean Project.
Independent resources are DigitalOcean resources that cannot interact with DigitalOcean Projects.
