Creating an App using the API

In addition to creating a Droplet from the Vodia Multi-tenant Cloud PBX 1-Click App using the control panel, you can also use the DigitalOcean API. As an example, to create a 4GB Vodia Multi-tenant Cloud PBX Droplet in the SFO2 region, you can use the following curl command. You need to either save your API access token) to an environment variable or substitute it in the command below.

Getting Started After Deploying Vodia Multi-tenant Cloud PBX

To log into the Vodia PBX management portal, type in user: admin and no password.

(Optional) If you would like to open inbound firewall ports on DigitalOcean’s networking setting, then navigate to

(Firewalls)

Set the Firewall rules for incoming traffic. Only the specified ports will accept inbound connections. All other traffic will be blocked. SIP ports can be different and can change on the phone system, if you do change ports on the phone system you will need to reflect that on the inbound firewall.
