DigitalOcean Monitoring is a free, opt-in service that gathers and displays metrics about Droplet-level resource utilization. Monitoring supports configurable alert policies with integrated email and Slack notifications to help you track the operational health of your infrastructure.
The DigitalOcean API lets you manage DigitalOcean resources programmatically using conventional HTTP requests. All the functionality available in the DigitalOcean Control Panel is also available through the API.
doctl is a command-line interface for the DigitalOcean API and supports many of the same actions.
Use the DigitalOcean API to programmatically retrieve metrics and configure metrics alert policies.
